I suggest, {9:5} Then when the sacred months have shed, then kill the polytheists wherever you found them, seize them, besiege them and sit [in wait] for them at every vantage point. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give alms, then let them [go] on their way. Verily, God is much Forgiving [and] Merciful. {9:6} And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection until he hears the words of God. Then let him reach his place of safety. That is because they are a folk who do not know. |
