I suggest,
{8:12} As your Lord inspires to the angels that I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will soon cast horror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike above the necks and strike of them every fingertip."

{8:13} That is because they opposed God and His Messenger. And whoever opposes God and His Messenger - indeed, God is severe in penalty.

I suggest,
{8:13} That is because they insurrected against God and His Messenger. And whoever insurrects against God and His Messenger, then verily, God is severe in punishment.

Quote:
{8:14} "That [is yours], so taste it." And indeed for the disbelievers is the punishment of the Fire.

I suggest,
{8:14} [Says God to the disbelievers,] "That for you [is punishment], so taste it." And that for the disbelievers is the torment of the Fire.
