Quote:
{4:176} They request from you a [legal] ruling. Say, "God gives you a ruling concerning one having neither descendants nor ascendants [as heirs]." If a man dies, leaving no child but [only] a sister, she will have half of what he left. And he inherits from her if she [dies and] has no child. But if there are two sisters [or more], they will have two-thirds of what he left. If there are both brothers and sisters, the male will have the share of two females. God makes clear to you [His law], lest you go astray. And God is Knowing of all things.
I'd interject "her entire estate" after "he inherits from her" because that's what
يرثها in Arabic means. "Inherits from her" does not necessarily mean he inherits the whole legacy in English.
I suggest,
{4:176} They ask you for a [legal] ruling. Say, "God rules for you concerning the quasigly decedent (one leaving no children, parents nor spouses)." If a person has expired, and he has no [surviving] child but he [only] has a [surviving] sister, then for her is half of what he left. And he inherits her [entire estate] if she [died and] has no [surviving] child. But if they were two [sisters], then for them is the two thirds of what he left. And If they were siblings - men and women - then for the male is as the lot of the two females. God clarifies to you [His law], lest you stray. And God is, of everything, All-Knowing.
