Quote:
{3:81} And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when God took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [God] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

The first interjection is unnecessary. I suggest,

{3:81} And [mention] when God took the covenant of the prophets, [saying,] "Surely whatever I have granted you of the Book and wisdom and then comes to you a messenger confirming of what is with you, that you [will] indeed believe in him and support him." [God] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My bond?" They said, "We have acknowledged." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

Quote:
{3:82} And whoever turned away after that - they were the defiantly disobedient.

I suggest,
{3:82} And whoever turned away after that, then those - they are the deviant.

Quote:
{3:83} So is it other than the religion of God they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and earth, willingly or by compulsion, and to Him they will be returned?

I suggest,
{3:83} So is it other than the religion of God they desire, while to Him have submitted [all] those within the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they are returned?
