{11:1} Alif, Lam, Ra. [This is] a Book whose verses are perfected and then presented in detail from [one who is] Wise and Acquainted.

This is a good translation. It leaves out, though, the word لدن. I checked over a dozen other translations and found only two who took the effort to translate it. One suggested "close to" and the other, Asad, suggested "grace." Those are good suggestions. The word actually means "His own." That is, the verse says that the holy Book comes from God in a rather intimate and special way. I suggest,

{11:1} Alif (A), Laam (L), Ra (R). [This is] a Book whose verses are been perfectly set and then detailed, [it comes] intimately from a Wise, Dexterous One.

Quote:
{11:3} And [saying], "Seek forgiveness of your Lord and repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor. But if you turn away, then indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a great Day.

I suggest,
{11:3} And [saying], "Seek forgiveness from your Lord then repent to Him; He will grant you a good comfort for a specified term and give every doer of favor his favor (reward him in kind). But if you turn away, then verily, I fear for you the torment of a big Day. "

Quote:
{11:4} To God is your return, and He is over all things competent."

I suggest,
{11:4} To God is your return, and He, over everything, is Powerful.

Quote:
{11:5} Unquestionably, they the disbelievers turn away their breasts to hide themselves from Him. Unquestionably, [even] when they cover themselves in their clothing, God knows what they conceal and what they declare. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

I suggest,
{11:5} Oh, They bend their chests seeking to hide themselves from Him. Oh, [even] when they try to cover themselves with their clothes [to hide], God knows what they conceal and what they declare. Verily, He is much Knowledgeable of what is within the bosoms.
