Quote:
{10:11} And if God was to hasten for the people the evil [they invoke] as He hastens for them the good, their term would have been ended for them. But We leave the ones who do not expect the meeting with Us, in their transgression, wandering blindly
Several translations, including the above, understood
استعجالهم بالخير to mean "as He hastens for them the good." However, there is no basis for this interpretation. That would be a translation of تعجيله لهم بالخير instead. Therefore, I suggest,
{10:11} And if God would precipitate for people the evil [punishment they deserve] as they elicit the good, their term would have been decreed for them. But We leave the ones who do not hope for meeting Us in their trespass wandering blindly.
